It doesn’t matter where you apply from. Wayra will receive your idea from anywhere in the world. If you think that your start-up and your team match the profile we are looking for, register for this call. We are waiting for you!
What kind of project are we looking for?
  At Wayra we are looking for excellent teams who can carry out projects that are:

Early stage start-ups or projects in the initial phase of development.

Founded on business ideas involving a significant component of technological innovation.

Scalable, with potential for growth and a powerful global component.

Based on a solid and feasible business model for short-term commercial deployment.


  
What kind of profile do our founders have?
We are looking for entrepreneurs who are committed to their idea and their project.
At Wayra we invest a lot of resources in the acceleration of each start-up and so we demand commitment in return.
 We are looking for entrepreneurs who are proactive and who challenge us.
For Wayra the team is one of the key pieces in the success of a start-up.
We are looking for entrepreneurs who are not afraid of change. During the period of acceleration at Wayra your business might change quickly. You will get feedback and advice from our mentors concerning decisions about the technology and business model you should decide on.

We are looking for entrepreneurs who manifest the Wayra spirit. We believe that in order to make the most of the experience it is essential for the founding team to spend most of their time immersed in the academies, in contact with other entrepreneurs, mentors and staff. We will provide you with a great window of opportunities and the best way to make the most of them is to work very hard.

Priority areas
  Wayra is open to any business project with a significant level of technology involved. Over all our calls we have received over 17,000 ideas and proposals and we believe that there is always a chance to find new points of view and solutions.

For this wayraCall we have decided to give priority to certain areas in which we believe there is special potential for growth. If your Project is related to new products or solutions in the field of Analytics (Big Data and M2M), mobile (applications for HTML5 ecosystem) or cloud solutions (virtualisation or XaaS), we will pay special attention to it during the preliminary assessment.
